Our most notable accomplishment to date is the challenge Westcoast Icons & Design took on for Microsoft. We created the new icon design style for the majority of the Microsoft Office 2003 software suite. We also produced the majority of the icons for the majority of the Office 2003 suite as well as managed the project from concept to completion. This project required bringing the Office software family into a more contemporary business oriented look and feel. The icons still needed to be familiar to existing users while being updated to somewhat of a Windows XP flavor. They were also able to utilize the new 32 bit color technology that had just recently become possible within Windows XP. Icons were designed and produced for applications such as Microsoft Word 2003, Excel 2003, Outlook 2003, FrontPage 2003, Publisher 2003, Small Business Accounting, OneNote 2003, InfoPath 2003, Access 2003, PowerPoint 2003, as well as others.
